do you think that would be enough to turn off Trump's supporters? Has to be, right?
I would think so, but I've been wrong about a lot of shit lately.
from Politico this past May: The one weird court case linking Trump, Clinton, and a billionaire pedophile

Fucking a porn star, even while you are married, doesn't really bother me that much. Now, if Trump had held himself up to be a paragon of virtue and THEN he is caught fucking porn stars, that would be different. He's never claimed to be a boy scout.

(20,018 posts)The whole "Don't-believe-your-eyes-it's-all-an-illusion" thing has been around a lot longer than television news has.
Xtians call everything that they don't what to believe "fake".
It's part of their faith and they revel in maintaining a belief despite any evidence to the contrary. They consider it a moral victory.
The only way to stop people from being so hopelessly gullible is to raise them better when they're young.
Don't gather round them and praise them when they refuse to see what's in front of their eyes.
Don't tell them that god loves them for that!

(5,272 posts)I believe he probably does have some dark secrets that he is desperate to keep hidden but I wonder whether any wrongdoing could ever be sufficiently proven to impact his diehard followers who are determined to stay in their alternate reality where they can deny, excuse or justify whatever he has done. Their default defensive knee-jerk reaction is always "whataboutism" especially if any possible Clinton link can be alleged.

(22,976 posts)The uninformed right-wing base, white nationalists, conspiracy theorists, firearms obsessives, compulsive flag-wavers, home-schooled bible-beaters, Wall Street fat cats, law-and-order mouth-breathers, Trump cultists, Ayn Rand masturbators, et al, believe (for real, and cynically) that EVERY bit of information that is bad about their foul-mouthed, mush-brained Imperfect Vessel is part of a deep-state plot by Soros, Obama and the Clintons to unhorse their junk-food-scarfing savior.

(60,010 posts)Timing is important, the P.I.N.O. has been losing supporters at a steady rate now.
Remember, Ray Moore lost his race over his perv past....HERE, in Alabama.
He lost by about the same number of votes that there were writes ins for a slew of other people...Republicans who needed to say they voted, but not for who.
true story.
