How long will it take Republicans to persuade 11 Democrats to vote with their budget?

On the face of it, it looks like a huge task.

They simply do not have the 60 votes required to pass the law. They need Democratic votes.

Did they expect the Democrats to automatically fall in line and vote with crap they don't agree with? Did they think they could block Democrats out of every hearing and still get their support? What did they expect? Did they think they could get this bill passed without Democratic support? Why did they not talk to Democrats? What kind of arrogance are we seeing with this bunch of Republicans?
