Lindsey Graham, White House Aides Trade Barbs on DACA, Immigration

I try not to visit fox news but I was curious what they were saying about the shutdown vote.
Anyway---The Dems are going to have a hard hard hard fight with DACA vote. Fox is doubling down on the vile. Seems Trump has Miller and Kelly as his ears and eyes and mouths. damn.

A top Republican drew the ire of White House aides when he accused one Trump adviser of engineering an immigration policy platform out of the "mainstream" of the Senate.

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said the reason a deal being brokered between President Trump and top Democrat Dick Durbin of Illinois failed was because of White House adviser Stephen Miller.

Graham said Miller, who has been the subject of contentious interviews on mainstream media, has a view on immigration policy that "has never been in the mainstream of the Senate."

John Roberts reported that Miller and White House Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly are seen as "hawks" on immigration and the future of the DACA program.

Roberts said Graham called Miller an "outlier," prompting deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley to return fire, calling Graham an "outlier" in Republican circles "for years."..............................

Polls show that a strong majority of Americans favor DACA.

A large majority of Americans supports maintaining the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, a new poll found.

The CBS News poll, released Sunday, shows 70 percent of Americans favor allowing those who benefit from the program, often known as "Dreamers," to stay in the country. Congress has in recent days met to work on a long-term fix for the program.
