Question: Is John Kennedy (R-LA) A Real Person, Or Is He A Caricature From A John Ford Movie?

Is he for real, or is he from Central Casting? You know...a caricature from a Joh Ford Western, played by Walter Brennan or Walter Huston?

I just saw him on Hardball, where he described Schumer's decision to re-open the government without a DACA fix as... "Schumer decided to plow around the stump." Is he for real, or has he just been watching too many re-runs of MATLOCK? Or maybe he's memorized all Jimmy Stewart's lines from Shenandoah, and is hoping we won't recognize them?

*Shrug*

John Kennedy (R-LA) as he appeared on Hardball today..

John Houston directed his father, Walter, who earned a well-deserved Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his work in this film.

Didn't mean to hijack the thread -- I just love that movie. One of my Top 10 Desert Island Classics.

As for John Kennedy of Louisiana, he is quite "folksy."
