2. Trump wants to appear like he is cooperating BUT left himself an out by saying it’s up to his lawyers.

3. If Trump’s lawyers say no Mueller can subpoena Trump to testify before Grand Jury.

He and his minions are going to try to re-define Obstruction of Justise (and maybe perjury/false statementes) as "defending himself" against everyone.
