Car accident in Davos: Trump-BMW rams police - and then continues

At the World Economic Summit in Davos, a car from Donald Trump's convoy collided with a police officer

The driver did not stop
On the way to the World Economic Forum, a vehicle of the convoy of US President Donald Trump caused an accident. This reports the Swiss online media "Blick.ch" .

Trump sat in one of the back cars
A mobile video of a passerby shows how a white BMW rams a policeman who gets in his way - and then just drives on. And up to the Intercontinental Hotel, where the President of the United States is housed.

According to a reader of "Blick", who was said to have witnessed the incident, Trump was sitting in one of the rear cars and waved to onlookers.

How the accident happened exactly is not known yet.

4. I watched the video. The cop steps in front of the car, then gets bumped out of the way.

He remains standing and continues to direct traffic. Not saying it's right, but the video is less impressive than the headlines.

When I was the title of your post, I almost didn't read as I thought it was just a tongue in cheek joke. But no, is real! trump is demonstrating to the world what being an American Idiot means when taken to unholy extremes.

6. I'm guessing Secret Service would not want the president's motorcade chilling at the scene.

Can't risk an ambush, even when the president is less than human.

In fact, I sure that it is protocol to assume any such accident is intentional lest it be part of an ambush plan.

Haven't these people ever even seen a political thriller movie?

of state, anywhere. The convoy would keep moving, and if the accident was more severe the local authorities would respond after the convoy was gone.

Caveat: I have no direct experience with security services, but I have seen about a million movies in which someone gets kidnapped or blown up after stopping for an accident...

No Presidential motorcade would stop.. secret service would fear some type of incident used to harm the President.

like.
Stopping equals exposure.
They would have done this regardless of who they were guarding, Obama, Trump, Bush etc.
