Story of the day: Guggenheim curator Nancy Spector turned down the WH's request for a loan of a Van Gogh painting. Instead she countered w/ Maurizio Cattelan's 18k gold toilet, 'The artist “would like to offer it to the White House for a long-term loan,”'

the guests left she would have them remove the painting and not buy it. Dealers got wise to that quickly..

Tim O'Brien, in his book, tells of the time he was invited on Trump's jet, and Trump proudly pointed to a Monet painting, said it was real. ( I am surprised he did not say it was autographed to him).
Tim, thinking it was a droll joke, scoffed, then Trump insisted. Well, of course no one would hang a valuable painting on the wall of a jet, as casually as you and I would put up a poster on our wall or something like that.
So O'brien let it drop, then saw the same painting a few months later, in a publicity shot of Trump at Mar Loco.

Could have been that Trump had 2 copies, like he keeps copies of a not real TIME cover, and fake Emmys in several places.

You know how he always projects onto others traits he does not like in himself..I just got how often he uses FAKE.
