Almost all the shows on MSNBC today

have had right wing nut jobs on as guests. Please do more than complain here on DU, let them hear from you. Sent a tweet to @msnbc or send them an email.

I'm hoping this isn't a trend for them, but it's weird that Velshi & Rule, Craig Melvin, & Katy Tur have had these idiots on today. There may be more that I've missed.

Anybody know if Kabletown has some sort of deal they need FCC approval for?

hope it's only today. Regardless, we need to let them know we don't like it and won't continue to watch if it keeps up.

They may allow some token liberal coverage, but they're never going to give the GOP the short end of the stick.

I don’t mind hearing two sides (or more) of a story or opinion. I just don’t want my time to be wasted with lies and hot air.

You addressed that by specifying “nut jobs” and not “Republicans” but the person at MSNBC who logs the viewer mail might not automatically make that distinction. I’d sure miss Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace and Republicans like them.

I thought I wasn't being clear. Steve Schmidt, Nicolle Wallace and Michael Steele are some of my favorites - Republicans all.

I had just caught myself writing “Republicans” when I really meant, as you said, “nut jobs.” I actively like hearing from reality-based Republicans, actually. I may not always agree with them but I think it’s nice to hear differing views when everybody involved is being polite and reasonable.

Stop subscribing to all cable news networks. Let 'em try to survive with just trumpers.

That isn't the point of my OP. I like Morning Joe, I like Hallie Jackson, I like Velshi and Ruhl, I like Katy Tur, I like Nicolle Wallace, and so on and so on.

The point is that TODAY has seemed an outlier, at least I was hoping so.

Point is, put em on and let em talk. They come off sounding like ignorant white wingers that will only sway the same.

...and yes I agree that there are far too many of them on MSNBC lately. They should be heard, but not to the extent that it crowds out the Democratic/liberal/progressive commenters.

Maybe put the Cons on Joe Scarborough and keep them there.

Ali just had the editor at large from Breitbart on, and some guy from the American Enterprise Institute. If this continues, may be time to switch to CNN.
