Science & Industry
Shedd Aquarium
any of our dozens of top blues and jazz places
hundreds of great restaurants
And if this is your first visit, Navy Pier is kind fun. They have a GREAT shakespeare theatre there, too.
Lots of theatre, dance, music, and really nice people.

(153,261 posts)they actually hate Obama more than they hate Romney, and they are doing all they can to steal the election by stopping people from voting....can they pull it off? YES. We had DUBYA playing "president" for EIGHT YEARS!!!

(29,754 posts)crap......in some places, that margin of people who won't want to bother with ID etc, and ones who won't be able to vote really makes the number voting for the POTUS a lot less then in 2008. I'm terribly nervous.

(153,261 posts)repukes know Mitt is a big fat zero so they will very much be ramping up efforts to prevent left-leaning folk from voting

(273 posts)I see more Ron Paul stickers than Romney, plus the usual wing nut/tea bag rhetoric.
The one that still makes me scratch my head: "Take our country back! (Dallas Pawn Shop)"
I have noticed a distinct uptick in the amount of Obama & pro-liberal stickers on the road, though. It's an encouraging trend.

I still see a few Bush/Cheney ones or McCain/Palin (which tends to make me speed up to get a look at them and just think, "Why?" , but no Romney ones yet.
Have seen a decent amount of Obama stickers, though.

(25,183 posts)Although that's not unusual for around here. Most signs don't go up until about the week before an election.
Also, I don't notice anywhere near as many Obama stickers as I did four years ago, and about half of them are left over from 2008. Neither candidate inspires deep love from their base, and that's especially true with Romney.
Capt. Obvious
(9,002 posts)Guy also had a Scott Brown sticker, and a "I'll keep my gun, bible, blah blah, you keep the change sticker"
I see way more Ron Paul stickers than Romney stickers.
I see about just as many Obama/Biden 2012 stickers (probably more).
I see more than enough insane Obama conspiracy stickers.
