Two elected democrats on Morning Joe had the chance to dominate the news cycle today

Senator Chris Murphy and Rep. Eric Michael Swalwell Jr. appeared in different segments of today's show. They were both very calm and laid back. Smiling. In each of their respective segments, John Heilemann made the point that Devin Nunes was behaving like a compromised person and asked them both to comment on the real possibility that Nunes had been compromised by the Russians. Both pretty much dodged the question. After that I deleted the DVR recording, so I don't know if someone with a backbone showed up later.

An opportunity to change the news cycle was handed to to Murphy/Swalwell on a silver platter... Something "strange" has gripped their GOP colleagues and it's time they start talking about it.

With Trump not implementing the sanctions, I think it's obvious to everyone by now what's going on with this Russia thing. And for whatever reason, republicans
are complicit as well, even after they got their tax scam passed.


We have former republicans like Joe Scarborough, Rick Wilson, David Frum, etc showing more anger and outrage about what trump and the gop are doing to our country than elected Democrats seem to be. I hate to beat a dead horse, but they are supposed to be our leaders. Our representatives. If they don't seem to be worried, why would regular Americans be concerned?

1. Joe Scarborough, Rick Wilson, David Frum don't sit on committees with Sec Clearances.

None are privy to the Intel nor ongoing decisions within the Senate/House.

You are seriously not comparing Swalwel & Murphy to the likes of pundits & bloggers, well noted they may be, to these two of the most respected gentlemen who know far more the details of what is being discussed as to Nunes.

STOP IT.

Perhaps consider that there may be a reason why these two didn't shout & wag their finger on camera, posing for public ratings.

The point isn't what I Know, its what Swalwel & Murphy Do Know but cannot tell.

Another bull crap anti Dem post comparing Republican pundits to Dems, with the security clearance that allows them to know it all but cannot publicly say.

I wish they could say what they do know about this horror show.
