I believe Wellstone was on his way to be a better FDR; far too dangerous. Like MLK uniting Civil Rights, Labor and anti war factions. Too dangerous for the status quo.

government, people are going to start being "suicided" or dying of suspicious means. They want to keep Trump in power because they can control him. My fear is that they will not let anyone stand in their way.

Just askin' but Putin is going to have to cover his tracks somehow, and Trump is too inept to do it for him.

I wonder how many politicians have been threatened or blackmailed by Putin's thugs.

He isn't safe anywhere, especially now that it's come out how deep in doo doo he is but you just know if he went to Europe he wouldn't be coming back with that big weird smile on his face.

Overconfidence kills, so does stupidity, it just strikes me that if any of these bastards end up dead he would be top of the list in a betting pool.

I see him on the top of the list and it would serve as a message to a lot of other people in Washington, who have undoubtedly been compromised. Many are not playing American politics anymore and are ill equipped to deal Russians.

As I recall,
one or more trucks stopped alongside the victim to block the view,
as someone else committed the murder,
in an organized assassination.

I think the Kremlin said that also was a 'robbery'.
