When asked who was going to be on his foreign policy team, Trump mentions both Carter Page and Papadoupoulus? Who gave him those names?? That would be interesting to know.

(14,961 posts)I wish the MSM would cover this, Rachel may have once last year. I imagine this is where the Obama "wiretapp" nonsense came from. This is all much larger than the crumbs we have been getting, tiny pieces to a much larger puzzle.

As for "who recommended him?" it could be any number of Russian oligarchs. Their leverage over Trump seems pretty YUGE!

(25 posts)If Carter Page was so inconsequential to Trump campaign why are they so worried about him? They renewed that FISA warrant 3 more times! Maybe Trump people are worried they are all caught up in the surveillance. And why State Dept. next? Saw some crazy things on Twitter that Papadopolus worked for Hillary at the State Dept(complete BS)So is that whats coming next?
They will muddy the water so much and Trump and Fox News sheep will believe it all!

(5,210 posts)and it may have been John Heilman, wondered aloud the other day if Page is a double agent.
You have to admit, with a PhD he's no dummy -- AND, if he's a willing Russian asset, that goofiness would be a good foil / act.
