I wish the MSM would cover this, Rachel may have once last year. I imagine this is where the Obama "wiretapp" nonsense came from. This is all much larger than the crumbs we have been getting, tiny pieces to a much larger puzzle.

The FBI had the phones of the Russians tapped and have transcripts of the conversations about Carter Page.

I think this has likely been planned for years, at least since 2013.

connecting TrumpCo and the Russians. I doubt he had any significant affect on 'policy.' He was probably more like a mule, not for drugs, but for info and contacts. Pappadopolous is probably in the same boat.

As for "who recommended him?" it could be any number of Russian oligarchs. Their leverage over Trump seems pretty YUGE!

If Carter Page was so inconsequential to Trump campaign why are they so worried about him? They renewed that FISA warrant 3 more times! Maybe Trump people are worried they are all caught up in the surveillance. And why State Dept. next? Saw some crazy things on Twitter that Papadopolus worked for Hillary at the State Dept(complete BS)So is that what’s coming next?
They will muddy the water so much and Trump and Fox News sheep will believe it all!

Yes, though it is possible -- even likely -- that the public will remain in the dark about his actual role.

and it may have been John Heilman, wondered aloud the other day if Page is a double agent.

You have to admit, with a PhD he's no dummy -- AND, if he's a willing Russian asset, that goofiness would be a good foil / act.
