Very short, quick strides, almost robotic.

I noticed it again when he walked on stage to give his speech last night.

It's almost like his laugh. Very unreal.

A friend pointed out his short baby steps a few months ago. His unusual short strides are rather effeminate. Must be the skinny jeans.
P.S. He also shakes hands like he's in a receiving line at the palace. A handsome man with a strange bearing for a guy.

Romney is the most awkward man since Nixon. I remember how Nixon drove me up the wall when he'd be walking with foreign leaders and he'd watch their feet to make sure they were all synchronized on the right/left thing. And if they weren't, Nixon would skip to stay in step. I'd think, "Gee dude, you're the POTUS, let them stay in step with YOU." Although the idea that he needed to be so regimented was creepy.

Romney is the same kind of creepy. Like he's not sure how to act in the REAL world.

I agree about the sissy walk, but it also reminds me of a toddler that is taking baby steps. They aren't even half-steps, but more of a choppy, in-place cadence.
