The crazy train from End Timesville has pulled in, folks.

Before you click on these links... you have been warned.

Outrage over Facebook tribute pages set up in praise of accused Colorado movie theater gunman James Holmes

I'm assuming the Daily Mail has never been flagged as a right wingnut site. I can't believe some guys are crazy enough to worship this monster.

Edit: someone says it is a RW rag. So here's a backup:

And then on the other side of the gender aisle comes this brand of batshit crazy:

Disturbing: Women on Twitter Think James Holmes Is ‘Hot,’ ‘Sexy,’ ‘Cute’

My diagnosis: We're being indoctrinated.

1. Well, the Daily Mail has always been a RW rag, for over a century.

As for the women thinking Mr Holmes is sexy, they thought Charlie Manson was sexy, too. All human behavior is subject to the tyranny of the bell-curve, and some times the edges can be pretty... interesting.

That's not to excuse the sick behavior, for it is clearly sick, but to highlight that this isn't really anything eschatologically "new".

I don't understand.
What are we being indoctrinated into?
Many murderers get groupies...been happening for decades.

I'll give you a hint: it's about perceived power.

Richard Ramirez, the Night Stalker, got more fan mail from women than anyone in the California prison system. He married one of them. This is a guy who broke into homes, and raped and shot couples as they slept.

The .Net encourages extreme expressions. Sometimes it becomes a competition to see who can be more outrageous.
