We have the President of the United States who refuses to implement the sanctions that were virtually unanimously passed by congress and signed by him. The reason given, that the mere passage of the legislation is a deterrent, proved to be bogus because ,in the week following the statement, it was reported that Russian bots and trolls were being utilized to push the meme to release the Nunes memo.
Glenn Simpson, in his two testimonies to the Intel committees, painted a picture of Trump who was continuously engaging with Russian mobster types and, his businesses seemed to be roach motels for the those Russian mobsters to launder their money. This information is also substantiated in publications such as The Washington Post , The New York Times and others. The Republicans in Washington ignore this information, and the Democrats seem to busy responding to the latest conspiracy theories against the FBI or other political activities. Nobody is refuting these claims concerning money laundering from Glenn Simpson or anybody else. We have constantly heard the exclamation - no collusion. Well, If the Russians had Trump under their thumb since the 1990s, maybe it wasn't necessary.
The media has done a terrible job of keeping the public centered on the big picture by not reminding them of it whenever the Republicans disseminate their misdirections.
