Trump speaks out about Rob Porter...you won't believe it.

Even for Trump. I keep saying "Just when I thought he can't get any worse," he gets worse.

Trump spoke with the press today and expressed great regret about Rob Porter. Poor Rob Porter. He's a great guy. He had a great career, and hopefully he'll continue to do well. He's sure he'll go on to great things because Rob Porter is a great guy. It's really sad what happened to him.

He never ONCE mentioned Porter's victims. He just heaped praise on Rob Porter and how sad it was that he has to leave his job.

This man is the most reprehensible vile pieces of shit ever to walk the earth.

I remember when Republicans were focused on national security. In fact, they were highly exercised that a Secretary of State may have compromised national security by using a private e-mail server. That server was never compromised (unlike government servers that the Secretary arguably should have been using), but the mere possibility sent them into foaming hysterics about giving away the nation's secrets.

Now? Sure, Rob Porter could have been blackmailed by anyone who knew his past, and he had ongoing access to some of the most sensitive material our government produces, but Rob's a great guy, and it's sad how he was hounded out of his job. I have yet to hear the first word out of the White House, from anyone, that addresses how they compromised national security to cover for this wife-beater.
