Well, those Congressional GOPrs who have gotten NRA campaign donations...

Can afford to offer plenty more thoughts and prayers to the victims of another unnecessary gun tragedy, I’m sure.

It’s not like they have jobs where they could pass laws or something about this nonsense, right?

The only reason shit like this continues to happen is that we’ve collectively decided that the price of “freedom” is gun violence. Lots and lots of gun violence. Even that protection FROM gun violence requires the handy ability to inflict even more gun violence.

It’s nothing more than a nasty vicious circle.

As reasoned and influenced through the handy application of millions of gun manufacturer dollars and RWNJ propaganda, of course.

America is being held hostage to the almighty gun right now. It’s our national shame.

I’m not expecting anything to come out of this other than the same impotence and deflection that always happens when people are slaughtered by another gun nut.

At this point, the 2nd Amendment is nothing more than a national murder/suicide pact.

I guess my guess, is as good as any opinions on CNN, fox, MSNBC. I surmise it gives us all a modicum of control when we come to our own conclusions as opposed to being 'fed' a conclusion by folks on tv who are just talking to fill air time.
Either way, A good holiday to you sir.

So you quoted someone. OK. I don't know the answer. I didn't claim to. But surely the threats to the populace everyday doesn't help. Too bad the kid liked dt. Probably majorly disappointed.
Just to be clear...you don't have first hand knowledge yourself. We're just all going by what we have experienced. I'm not crapping out Dreamers. I support them. Just saying it was a possibility. By tomorrow the media will have filled in ALLLL our questions and we can stumble on to the next awful shooting. Any way you slice it, it's ugly.

And seeing how this happened in Florida, of all gawdamned places, it really takes a lot of nerve to do something like that.

Generations of Floridians have had Latino surnames for too long to even speculate about such a thing.

But, you want to own it. So have at it.

I cut the cable in 2011. You'll forgive a chap please for not having up to the minute info. As of about 7pm I knew that 17 people died. I'm not a troll. I realize it's a knee jerk reaction these days on comment threads. I mean't no disrespect to you or anyone. I'm picking up my news as it comes out here. I support Dreamers and I was only positing a possible theory. No kid should have a gun pointed at them at school by a classmate or a swat team. It's getting so commonplace that it's fertile loam for editorialization. If you disagree...review news reporting this whole afternoon. Comes out in dribs and drabs.
