(21,106 posts)that you aren't right. I know that is double negative. I live in the deep south and I know a LOT, I mean a LOT of gun totin people with arsenals. I want to think that they would choose to let their OWN child live rather than keep their guns, but I can't be sure. And if its NOT their OWN child, I KNOW the answer. FUCKING HYPOCRITES.

(65,377 posts)stored guns, it seems a significant number of them do value their guns over their kids.
Maybe they don't consciously acknowledge that to themselves, but the evidence if all over the place that guns in the hone are a deadly risk to your kids unless they are properly stored, but too many gun lovers don't want their guns to be safely stored because they want split second access to them--and they want them loaded and ready to be fired immediately.
