As we sit here raging and sickened, Republicans are reassuring each other that this is all the Libruls fault. That we need more guns in schools, we need to arm all teachers. Gun free zones are to blame.

In my part of Florida, we have one or two at the school everyday, inside the school. I live in north-central Florida.

When assault weapons are used in mass killings it always takes me back to Vietnam. The Las Vegas shooting especially. For someone who is armed against a mass killer to be a real deterrent that person has to be willing to die protecting others. That is what having someone’s back means.
