Well only a big healthy federal government could take on corporations and win. States and municipalities can be played off each other by corporations acting of one philosophy. IMHO And as to her claim of not being racist she was the owner of Britebart News. Unlike government where change takes time, she could have instantaneously changed the content of the news. It would have taken a day at most to stop it.Day after day after day after day she chose not to.

The reality is that we are a country of over 300 million people.

Some laws and regulations are best passed and implemented by state and local governments and some by the federal government.

State governments and local governments cannot pass or enforce meaningful laws regarding many environmental issues because things like poisoned water and poisoned air move across the entire earth. And if the environment in agricultural states becomes putrid because companies are releasing poisons into the water and it ends up in the fields, we who live in other states pay the price because our food becomes poisonous.

If one state does not provide a decent education to its citizens, the whole country suffers. It is like that in many areas.

On the other hand, the more local education management, the better in my view.
