It takes a lot of courage to challenge the NRA and even GOP/Trump publicly or on social media. It will earn you death threats, intimidation, harassment, et al. And you have no idea how many might really be serious.

We can se what happened to the Newton parents openly taking action. So victim's families have to suffer and grieve in silence. Because if they do come out aggressively they put themselves in further danger.

It really is about as bad as it can get.
