But now that Congress members are all millionaires steeped in lobbyist money, they don't need abortion to be legal for the public. They can use women's rights as a political football since it won't affect them.

The wealthy have always been able to get their mistresses and concubines safe, physician performed abortions on the down-low when needed. Even the one's that pretend to be devoutly religious, examples of which we have seen lately.
