Don't you think the driver would have seen the gun? I know nothing about the guns but isn't that a large gun?

For example, open carry is permitted while hunting, fishing, camping, gun shows, or while shooting, and while going to and from such activities
Long Guns a legal firearm other than a handgun may be anywhere in a private conveyance when such firearm is being carried for a lawful use
Because of STUPID FUCKING LAWS, it does not appear he was doing anything unlawful at the time of his travelling.
These laws must change.

An AR-15 with a collapsible stock could fit into a case/bag about 30 inches long.
