I propose we confiscate all guns... and replace them with the following legal guns:

single shot bolt action rifle.
breach loading single and double barrel shotguns.
all handguns must be "smart guns" keyed via bio-metric data to a single owner... and that owner needs to go through extensive gun safety training and to go through annual evaluation... sort of like a driving license.

I know the gunners here won't like this... but if we did it, it would allow hunters to hunt and for personal protection.

It also wouldn't stop EVERY mass shooting... but it would stop most of them.

I have the ignore button for that. Anyway, it's become an awful epidemic and something needs to be done about guns. 18 school shootings already! Guns are preventing our kids from being safe. Can gun control solve the whole problem of violence? No, but it would help since guns kill quickly and easily. And some guns are only designed to kill people.
