(33,346 posts)I was just remarking on the "title", not attempting to argue or dispute your correction.
Your correction applies perfectly to the overall intent, based on the message posted.
Kalb's "crass" use of "motherfucking" was defiant, so considering only the title of the post, "defiantly" fits. That was all I meant. No offense intended.

(5,720 posts)An 11 year old (Hit Girl) shows psychopathic delight in slaughtering bad guys in some pretty gruesome ways, but the uproar was about her using the C-word (female anatomy). America's prudish obsession with language and the physical body while glorifying mass violence baffles me.

(430 posts)maybe the NRA should just give the politicians guns. Then they could distribute them to their constituents.
On second thought, the next time your community has a "gun trade-in", make sure the guns can't be fixed then deliver them all to your local republican's office or home and just dump them there. Maybe they'll recycle them for the NRA.

(11,566 posts)After a certain dollar amount, Republicans deem human life worthless, as they have demonstrated, time and time again. Words, such as "thoughts and prayers" become outright cynical and cruel when not followed up with meaningful action.

(1,076 posts)Thanks to Bess and anyone else digging up exact amounts. I had to add this up.
$35,022,190.00 is a lot of money. Nine Senators, elected to serve the people. These folks did a disservice to the people/kids at the high school.
These amounts of money explain the lack of public denunciation of the NRA (New Russian Association). The overall silence in the Senate. And, the NRA has bought the silence of the House of Representatives. The NRA money was spread across the house to lesser amounts. Lower costs in less populated markets areas.
I wonder if there is any data/information concerning NRA contributions to the respective house members.
Nine members of the senate or 9% were bought for $35 MILLION. I imagine the house majority were bought for $15 million.

See how fast they cower. Fucking cowards. They're for sale like any piece of property. Dead kids? So what... I got a bunch of money.

(6,446 posts)How many Democrats took money from the NRA? What do we do about that? It's a blue dog Dem dilemma... How many Reps do we have in otherwise Red State areas where an opposition to Automatic weapons could lose them an election? How much should that matter? At what point will we get to a stage where this will matter to Republican gun owners?

(10,175 posts)It really does make clear how the NRA has been infiltrated by Putin spies and money.
It's very interesting reading but it doesn't give me a Russian Troll's salary or bot hacker/programmer fee. You know they aren't getting paid their true worth
You would think one of them would want in on some NRA style pay back?
