McConnell knew that he would be able to get away with it. As usual, we got conned into accepting empty promises instead of pressing for it when we could have during the first shutdown. I posted about it at that time and was told that for sure we would insist on it next time and that I did not grasp the fine points of the strategy...

Everyone knows that the overwhelming majority of Americans want the Dreamers to stay here legally. This is typical GOP and McConnell BS!
