If republicans won't address gun violence in schools maybe a national school strike would.

Teachers and parents. High schools, day cares, colleges, Maybe even the entire country workforce. Shut the fucking country down until something is done. I'm in. Kids are so beautiful and bring so much joy. We have to think outside the box. Just my two cents. I'm angry

My thought is that Democrats in Congress should have one specific proposal that everyone can rally behind.

When the profits slow politicians wake up. Lots of parents could take time off and meet at all our schools and colleges and say no more. Just like the woman's March, we could have a parents and grandparents March. A we love children March. Something, anything that threatens politicians. Even republicans have kids and it could bring pressure on the politicians.

One that can gain traction in marches, on social media, etc.

Something simple and straightforward in terms of messaging.

The south would starve with that one. Maybe stop the NRA from killing our children vote Blue. Or vote blue save your children. Only with blue we can change things. Red is dead?

If HS kids throughout the country just got up and walked out of school one day, at the same time, what a statement that would make.
