Rugged Individualism gets people a low paying job with no benefits and no pension
Collectivism can get people better pay and benefits with a decent retirement pension.
Reagan really promoted the "Rugged Individualism" scam. And a lot of people fell for it too. And it worked out for some too. About the top 5% are doing alright. But look at how the rest of us are doing after 30 years of of that. Not too good is it?
