Entire premise of Romney’s foreign trip collapses.

Premise:

<...>

This week, Romney is to attend the Olympic opening ceremonies in London and make stops in Israel and Poland. The trip offers him a platform to highlight his extensive travel as a salesman of American-centric beliefs, but it also serves as a reminder that the world has curved Romney’s trajectory.

Team Romney: Americans Don’t Care About Foreign Press

Evan McMorris-Santoro

Two of Mitt Romney’s top surrogates told reporters Thursday the Romney campaign’s not worried about the torrent of negative press surrounding Romney’s visit to London. Americans don’t care about foreign press, they said.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell — both rumored to be potential vice presidential choices for Romney — defended Romney from the embarrassing headlines in London on a press call set up by the Romney campaign.

Jindal and McDonnell were trying to highlight continuing efforts to turn President Obama’s out-of-context “you didn’t build that” quote into a Republican rallying cry.

They insisted the multiple Romney blunders in England won’t ultimately do any damage to his campaign.

Instead of Mittens being trumpted as a world leader, people are tuning in to see how badly he screws up. The Griswolds had a better day in England

Remember...Despite showing he's not ready for prime time there are still nearly 50 million people who will cast a ballot for this cad...the last thing Democrats can be are complacent!!
