Wait, not just anyone. Only Black people should start going out and buying AR's tomorrow. Then when the white guys in DC see that the Black people are arming themselves in record numbers, they'll find an excuse to "get the guns off the streets".

This worked in California. When the Black Panther Party starting arming themselves and began carrying openly in public, NRA darling Governor Ronnie Ray Gun said "fuck this" and started California on its path to becoming the most gun restrictive states by outlawing open carry.

So, if you want to get assault rifles off the streets, go buy a bunch of them, so the Powers that be will get scared and cut that shit out. This might also have the unintended effect of cutting down on the numbers of white cops who pull into Black neighborhoods with their guns blazing.
