Have you ever been in SHOCK? I bet most of us have, right - everything is so REAL that its

NOT. FUCKING. REAL.

These darling survivors are only EIGHT DAYS into this unspeakable tragedy - hell, when my husband died peacefully at home of a completely expected/anticipated death, I didn’t realize what had happened until ELEVEN DAYS LATER, and then I suffered a grief the likes of which were simply - unimaginable. I went quietly fucking insane. And it went on for months and months.

...the way I’m looking at this is, they haven’t even started on their journey through their grief yet...

Well, we’ll be there, goddamit.

This wasn’t all for nothing, and we’re not going anywhere

even the ones not in the exact building. Just having to exit a building and run toward the police who have their own assault rifles pointed at YOU is traumatic.

Right now they are operating on both grief and exhilaration... and a huge sense of purpose. Soon will come the survivors' guilt and depression.
