1. We will have to fight extra-hard, given how hard the GOP is suppressing votes.

We have to turn out dramatically more voters to overcome all the lawlessness.

I expect an amazing amount of money to be thrown into the mix by the republicans.

Fingers are crossed but the dirty tricks will come fast and furious.

3. One of the biggest pickups could be Florida

Rick Scott won both his 2010 and 2014 elections by less than 1 percentage point. Both were in big red wave years. A strong Democratic candidate running in this environment could very well win.

I know he's gone but it would be so nice to have a dem gov and for him to not win Nelson's Senate seat. Florida deserves better than this.

4. We need as many as we can get for the census

and redistricting that will take place. We've got to get rid of criminally gerrymandered districts.

If they ever get their hands on the Constitution, the country is done for.

Scott is not liked and Nelson is but Russian repugs hacked the vote in Broward and Hialeah counties in the general so will have to have lots of Puerto ricans voting blue to overpower their treachery.

11. This is a great year for Dems to take back state governments

to make sure we have fair elections in 2020 to defeat Trump, and to oversee redistricting efforts after the 2020 census
