One of the side effects of Mueller's investigation is isolating Trump.

Look at the number of WH staffers that have left. From the experienced political players, to the fawning sycophants, and now with Hicks, his inner circle of loyal and trusted confidants, all gone. It's only a matter of time before Kushner is out the door because he cannot work (or whatever it is that he does) in the West Wing without a clearance. Ivanka is in the same jeopardy, so what new duties can she be entrusted with when she has no clearance?

Trump doesn't have the knowledge or the intellect to make a decision on his own, and no doubt he relied on Kushner to explain the daily briefing to him. Just as he has given state secrets to the Russians, Trump will divulge them to Kushner so Jared can explain things and advise him how to act.

Make no mistake, all these departures are adding to the enormous pressure on Trump. Mueller is going to continue to add to his fears by systematically isolating him from his closest allies until the indictments drop.

years, Keith Schiller, left the immediate premises (and is, as we know, now scrimping by on 15 grand a month via the RNC). And now Hope Hicks takes a hike.

Yes, ALL THESE DEPARTURES bring a broad grin to my lips!!

that's always been her role. But what would her attorneys have to say about that?

Not the most insightful people, didn't know what even people like us realized as dad headed for the GOP nomination and intensely intense scrutiny, that they were headed for bad trouble. But by this point they must realize that somewhere they passed the point of no return on an increasingly slippery slope, that there is no win strategy...right? Will Javanka cut and run, or hang close to power and get themselves in even worse trouble?

distance herself from Trump, especially once Kushner leaves. All of her cronies are gone, so only Trump remains, and she's got to choose where her interests lay.

as family would strike them as the best way to take care of their children. Blood is a very strong organizing principle for a lot of people, especially a lot of conservatives, and she's spent her life keeping a relationship going with him.

Now some observers are saying Javanka and Kelly are at war for control. I really can't guess what's in their heads. Supposedly at a time when they were already in hopelessly over their heads and headed for certain legal problems they considered themselves future presidential material. (!)
