MSNBC playing Romney "backside of 10 Downing street" clip without acknowledging gaffe

Thomas Roberts' show...he's interviewing Michael Steele right now and played the "backside" clip but didn't acknowledge the fuck-up.

Here's the context:

Oh, Mitt: those Romney gaffes in full

Boobs, blunders, clangers – whatever you call them, Romney likes to drop them. And he's really outdone himself in London

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/us-news-blog/2012/jul/26/mitt-romney-britain-gaffes

From criticising the biggest sporting event Britain has held in over 40 years, to "looking out of the backside of 10 Downing Street", Mitt Romney's first foreign trip of his presidential candidacy hasn't gone quite as well as he might have hoped. As the former Massachusetts governor continues to gaffe his way across London, here's a round-up of Romney's red-facers. So far.

At Downing Street: 'Looking out through No 10's backside'

There are two things you should know before you "look out of the backside of 10 Downing Street", as Mitt Romney did on Thursday.

Firstly, in Britain, "backside" means "ass". As in the part of the body. Secondly, "10 Downing Street" is often used in political reporting as a synonym for a press spokesman for the prime minister, in the same way as "the White House" can say things or have opinions.

I posted a couple of threads on this recently.

Looks like the VAST MAJORITY of viewers "click away" when the show comes on. I know I do...I watch Fox, and it's LESS odious than an hour of Toure and Cupp.

During the noon (Pacific) hour, they are number 3 in the "Big 3" (Fox, CNN, MSNBC).

The show is "on hiatus" right now due to the Olympics. There is a lot of speculation regarding whether it will return, with all four hosts intact, after that.

...and calls it #10 instead of #2. He mistakes his own backside for that of #10 Downing Street.
