asset forfeiture is somehow legal. people who do nothing more than carry a big wad of cash can have it seized, and then have to petition the courts to get it back.
this is far more damaging to our right to due process than taking guns away from some raging asshole.
whatever the legal framework for the war on drugs is, i can see no problem w extending it to the war on child murderers and wife beaters.
yes, i would like to see asset forfeiture overturned. but until it is, i want to see it applied to gun nuts.

The war on drugs was set up and designed to hurt POC. And you're calling for its policies to apply to even more people. Could that possibly be any more privileged. Christ, this site sometimes.
