is that they know their political lives an their personal freedom are tied to Trump's survival . I think they have both received "help"---monetary and otherwise---from Russia and know many in the GOP have also. Either they all brazen it out and survive or they all fall.
They both deserve to join Trump in prison.

They've been so arrogant in their treatment of those less fortunate and should pay for it. Also, their assets that were gotten illegally should be confiscated. By the time Mueller gets done locking up assets, we may pull the U.S. out of debt. Hopefully, they'll confiscate the off-shore money, as well, from the whole bunch.

20. New Yorker: Paul Ryan Keeps It All in the Family

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. “Swear to God.”

In the Post piece, McCarthy’s remark is met with laughter, and Ryan cautions his colleagues, “This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?”

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. “Swear to God.”

Dana Rohrabacher is a Republican from California with a peculiar amalgam of views: pro-marijuana, dubious about climate change, pro-torture. For this last position, in 2007, Keith Olbermann awarded him his periodic “Worst Person in the World” award, on his old MSNBC show. Like Trump, Rohrabacher has been highly solicitous of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Last year, Politico ran an article on Rohrabacher called “Putin’s Favorite Congressman.”

In the Post piece, McCarthy’s remark is met with laughter, and Ryan cautions his colleagues, “This is an off the record . . . No leaks! . . . All right?”

that've timidly expressed reservations as to how things are (or aren't) going in DC, there's WAY MORE who are complicit (by their silence) in keeping this non-stop tsunami tearing away at the foundations of what used to be our country. Being a practical type, I'm an Atheist. That said, I wish there WERE the Heaven & Hell that are purported to be our final fates. That way, I could be confidant that Ryan and Turtle and all the Grand ol' Pricks were gonna roast their weenies for eternity.

Sat Mar 3, 2018, 08:49 PM
Mar 2018

Trump will do nothing. Congress has voted for sanctions that Trump will not impose.

All security agencies are publicly saying Russians are hacking the upcoming election. Trump does not direct his government to defend our democracy. It falls directly to these two to act quickly to protect our democracy, and yet they sit on their hands. If we are hacked again in the 2018 vote, we may not recover a true democracy for many generations -- and that would after social, environmental and economic damage is so severe that quality of life will be very poor indeed.

It is time to pour on the heat to these two to make them squirm so hard they have to do something -- and quickly.

they will put tariffs on:

Harley Davidson - headquarters in WI represented by Paul Ryan
Bourbon - made in KY represented by McConnell

Levi's I can't figure out, since most of Levi's plants are not in the US and the ones that are are in California.

but advertisers will flee rw radio when they find out artificial intelligence now makes it possible for dems to turn all talk radio into text for $5/hr (eg. sonix.ai) and associate them directly with the lies hate racism and gun selling they are sponsoring

If I recall, it was beginning to look like McConnell wasn't going to win in the last election.
But, just like everything else in that election, the GOP had a "stunning" win.

I also find it strange how (as much as I dislike the guy), Boehner quit politics—for what seemed like no reason. Nobody wanted to replace him, and finally Ryan agreed to take it. Initially Ryan was against Trump, then another from-out-of-nowhere moment, Ryan said he supported Trump for President.

Something seriously stunk in that primary and election.

I hope they are ALL ALL ALL sentenced to prison for their treasonous actions.

Maybe all the comments abovre aren't taking the reason Ryan isn't doing anything about trump is for a selfish reason?

If trump is impeached, Pence becomes pres. Ok, so far.
But if Mueller takes down trump, odds are good pence goes with him. That leaves the next in line for the new American throne.
And that next in line is Paul Ryan.
So why should he try to take down trump if he can't get rid of Pence, too?
