https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/05/us/andrew-pollack-parkland-gun-control-cnntv/index.htmlHe seemed a little out of it or something.
Eyes looked a little glazed - and seemed to have impulse control issues - interrupting the interviewer oddly from the start.
Just seemed a little off...anyone else sense that?

(3,011 posts)He, and his two sons, gushed with love for trump. The portion we all hear sounded great, but the full remarks wouldn't play well on this site.
He is a victim and has suffered a terrible loss. His voice is no less important than any other family who has suffered losing a child.
But this message to the kids to focus on securing the schools first is right in line with the NRA, as he is. Check out his full remarks. I can only find them on Brietbart. That's a clue.

(14,150 posts)Harden the school campus arm all the teachers and administrators. Arm the students with AR-15s who ever owned a water pistol or cap gunz. The police should all have shoulder fired anti-tank missiles and drones armed with Harpoon missiles.
More and more gunz are the only answers.
Freedom and 2nd Amendment rights take precedence over safety. We need more gunz.
Listen to the NRA - we need more gunz.

(52 posts)I feel the immense pain that Mr. Pollack must be going through with losing a child, much like General Kelly losing his son in a senseless war. The circle will never be able to be squared for both men, and they flail helplessly - often in public - with the anguish of any parent who has lost a child.
Perhaps they need to step back and reconsider their points of view, endorsements of certain ideologies that have given rise to these tragedies, and listen to the young people who have lived through it all and are now saying ENOUGH and NEVER AGAIN.
And as Graham Nash so eloquently stated back in another time of the senseless killing of young during the Vietnam ear:
You, who are on the road must have a code that you can live by.
And so become yourself because the past is just a good bye.
Teach your children well, their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams, the one they pick's the one you'll know by.
Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
And you, of tender years can't know the fears that your elders grew by,
And so please help them with your youth, they seek the truth before they can die.
Teach your parents well, their children's hell will slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams, the one they pick's the one you'll know by.
Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
