I am as guilty of this as anyone: we keep trying to "make sense" of Trump's

words and deeds. We keep trying to construct some framework of rationality upon which to hang such incongruities as white supremacists are "fine people", "trade wars are good" and "Mexico will pay for the wall". But, the sad, scary and transparent truth is that Donald J. Trump is an amoral pathological narcissist and he and he alone creates the world he inhabits.

He has no sense of shame. He has never experienced embarrassment. He is totally unaffected by the pain, discomfort or even death of others and he has no loves, friends or allies that he will not abandon in a heartbeat if that would add to his power or fortune.

When we ponder his strategy or posit theories to explain the cascade of aberrations that form the fabric of his "administration", we credit him with a humanity which he has done nothing to deserve and which he is incapable of understanding.

Trump not only does not belong in the White House; he does not belong at large. He should be confined in a secure facility like any non-billionaire mentally ill person would be.

He is a malignant narcissist. He will throw anyone under the bus and convince himself they deserved it because they betrayed him. No one is safe, not Hope Hicks, not even his daughter, Ivanka. People are to be used and when they are no longer useful they have no value.

Sorry. I have never tried to make sense of trumps words or deeds. He is an evil man here only to enrich himself, a traitor to our country. Full stop.

issue/event that you have to wonder? Doesn't it ever cross your mind that he could be sane? I have news on background all day long and have heard every single thing this lunatic has uttered. sometimes I think - I know he's behind this mess 100% but yet - how can someone act so into something? Like, if I had the weight of guilt extraordinaire on my shoulders - I wouldn't be able to do routine bullshit agenda items - like it mattered or like I knew I'd be around for a long time.
