The school has come on board with the March 14th walkout
I just got the email today. Parents can authorize their child taking part in the walkout on March 14th. With the authorization there will be no punishment for the kids (big field trip and sports tryouts).
Role will be taken before and after the 17 minute walkout.
My girl says she now wants to participate but we're going to have a family talk about it tonight.
Some other parents must have put some heat in the school and/OR the school realized this was a teachable moment.
