Where there is light, there is also darkness. Such is the way of the world, and so it is that every International Women’s Day a select group of people ask the same question:

“Yeah but when’s International Men’s Day?”

As we have reported before, there is an International Men’s Day– November 19th- and it does exist to raise awareness for important issues, such as male mental health, toxic masculinity and high suicide rates. What it is not, however, is a counter to International Women’s Day, a day that exists to remind us that society is glaringly unequal if you identify as female.

To try and stem the tide of internet contrarians, enter Richard Herring, a comedian on a mission: this International Women’s Day he will be on Twitter telling everyone who asks the aforementioned dumb question exactly when International Men’s Day is.
