Mittens has made such a colossal ass of himself in London that nobody will be able to look at any pictures of him in London without thinking about that.

Does Romney have part ownership of NBC or something? The little speech by Lauer about Mittens was revolting: "No matter what your political affiliation, blah--blah--blah--Romney saved the 2002 Olympics".

The difference in NBC's coverage of our First Lady, Michelle Obama, and the Romney's was blatant and disgusting....

...disgusting enough that maybe I'll choose to watch a lot less of this Olympics than originally planned.

she would understand, it is the athletes, their moment. Michelle should keep a low profile, don't draw any undo attention..unlike Romney, ego maniac had to ONE UP the Brits and make it all about him

It's not about her (and I'm sure she'd be the first to emphasize that), but NBC's ass-kissing of Mitt Romney was sickening. NBC mentioned politics when it was not needed.

it was noticed, and shameful. NBC is embarrassing.

How many negative and insulting remarks about other countries did Costas make ?

I was up to ten and had to tune him out. What pompous ass.

i'll have to watch it on the BCC later. I hope this is Costas's last time.

That rat bastard Lauer made it a point to highlight it and he said those exact words.

Can't remember the small country he was supposed to be describing.

I watched the live coverage (BBC...watched on an online stream), and they had several shots of Michelle. The only coverage of Romney was one dismissive mention by the commentators (which included one commentator laughing at him a bit). No pic.

to form. They spent more time on commercials, which I know are necessary to generate funds for the station, but the ones for the Olympic Ceremony's coverage were excessive.

We did actually have plenty of coverage of your First Lady throughout most of the day here on our UK tv news yesterday.

Who was providing the coverage you mention ?
