Several schools in my area have issues retaining teachers because of of the challenging environment.

It's really difficult to get people around here to take teaching jobs in the state when they can go to Minnesota, or Illinois, or Iowa and earn significantly more money while retaining the right to collective bargaining.

Most of these teachers were old guard Republicans who believed Walker about a week before the election when he stated that he had "no intention to do anything with unions, public or private."

Guess what his very first major initiative was? Yup, "Act 10," which was a death blow to all public employee unions EXCEPT FOR police and fire, which supported his campaign.

Is a teacher going to be held liable if she doesn't use her gun to stop it?

If a student attacks a teacher, can she use the gun in self defense?

Do we train teachers to only use the gun when shots have already been fired?

Think of all the mistakes trained police make with guns.

It will take a lot more than training in how to shoot to prepare teachers for the responsibility.
