Well Mitt keeps his foreign bashing on a roll. He's definitely doing everything he can to avoid an 'apology tour'.
You may remember that London Mayor Boris Johnson lashed out at a crowd of 60,000+ about Romney's remarks about London's preparedness. He pretty much called Romney a 'glorified visitor' and proceeded to lead the crowd in a chant of 'Yes We Can'.
<...>
Well instead of moving on and hoping the world forgets, Rmoney Camp has lashed out:
See, its unbecoming to attack Romney for attacking Britain, because Johnson was a Obama supporter. But if say.... a conservative Brit insults Romney, that is immediately forgivable:
Further down in the article you get this gem:
that that the Romney campaign had not prepared sufficiently for a visit of this magnitude and that the candidate had not been briefed properly on how to answer questions about the staging of the Olympic
So the guy who 'saved' the olympics is not ready for a trip of magnitude to meet world leaders, show some charm, or answer questions about how to properly stage olympics he supposedly saved.

Stay classy Mitt, the Independents are watching and the teabagger/racist/fundie vote alone will not get you the prize.

(6,160 posts)Are they freaking kidding? Amazingly stupid admission from an organization supposedly preparing a man to be elected President!
He is not qualified to be President in any way whatsoever!

How hard is it to say, How do you do? Nice Olympics you got here.
Lol

(61,599 posts)Mitt had nothing difficult to do on this trip. No delicate foreign policy discussions, nothing. Just a meet and greet as he toured a country that is one of our strongest allies during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. How difficult could that possibly be? The fact that Mitt and his team screwed that up spectacularly says a lot. I hope that U.S. voters are watching.

The stories about how he has treated people over the years show the real Romney.
Can Romney interact with ANYONE without insulting them?

(23,720 posts)One would think that his life experience- his money, his travels, his hobnobbing with the elite all is life, would give him a clue as to how to behave when visiting foreign dignitaries. But apparently his circle of friends, family and acquaintances only include small, shallow people just like him.
I almost feel sorry for Rmoney because despite all his money, he has nothing of value in his life.

(16,916 posts)Was Romney conscripted into service? Was he rushed? If a trip to our #1 ally was too difficult, how will he ever handle a visit to the Soviet Union?
