He probably thinks he has the authority?
I cannot remember a Secretary of State getting fired in such a humiliating way? I cannot ever remember a Secretary of State ever getting fired at all??
One would think that in a civilized country, a Secretary of State would be asked to resign? Not fired by Tweeter.
Pence probably does not feel that secure?

(90,681 posts)...Pence appears to be ever so quietly waiting for DTs to drop dead or be impeached. I think he feels secure. DTs -- whatever he knows or doesn't know about his ability to fire his own veep -- never seems to get set off by anything the quiet Pence says or does. Shhhh.
