Saying a complete group of people believe something

From just the comments of one news guest...
Is like saying all Mexicans are bad because you saw one shoplifting last week.
Anyone who has to jump on the actions of one person to justify the whole, probably didn't have much of a point to begin with.

On this forum that don't represent me in anyway. Just because I chose to vote for someone other then their candidate in the primaries. It also don't represent anyone I know in the same boat as me. Yet it still seems to be gospel to a few people here. Democrats should know generalizing an entire group of people is wrong. That's kind of our thing

Lots of accusations back and forth at that point - very difficult time; but it's sort of human nature - people care passionately about the positions they put forward. It's understandable that that passion, passion that we need to have the energy to defeat Trump and his cronies, does occasionally create friction among our own ranks.

That's like saying I don't want to be racist but you didn't live in my old neighborhood and you don't know what it's like. Wrong is wrong.

I have been a frequent flier on this site since the early bush years. I saw some of the bickering that went on here during the primaries. Same thing happened in 2008. About 100 people throwing insults back and forth... a small percentage compared to how many people use this site. Yet this subject still seems to dominate.

Now the same 100 people want to blame each other. Honestly it was a combination of things why Hillary didn't win. Some of those things she brought on herself and some of it was complacent voters and most was b.s. hit jobs and dirty tactics but it definitely wasn't Bernies majority that made Trump president.

I never thought I would have to vote for someone who voted to go to war but I did it like most progressives. Went against personal principles to vote for her. Yet people here want to jump on all progressives anytime they see an opening.

It's not about Hillary or Bernie. It's about the message. This is the problem with lifetime politicians. The message often gets lost under the persona. Let's just get the right politicians into the right places and win.
