1 dog dies in an overhead bin

4 days later a bill is introduced to ban putting dogs in overhead bins.

17 students die in a school shooting; at least 2 recent shootings by teachers injuring: Too soon to talk about gun control . . . but let's think about we can give more teachers guns.

Had the dog been shot, no new laws would be being contemplated.

Maybe someone needs to herd schoolchildren onto planes and make them crawl into the overhead bins.

Animals should be protected.

Children should be protected.

We should be working for both. We can do 2 things at the same time.
