Forget serving in the military. If you are wounded or incapacitated there will be no VA to take care of you. You will be thrown into the private insurance sector with copays, premiums, limits, pre existing conditions et al after your service. The GOP has been sabotaging the VA system since Bush and even before.

The new meme now is that the VA is broken and must be turned over to the corporate private health care system. Such a transfer of care with the meme of "choice" is a death sentence for veterans who need very specialized care. The general public is being misled into believing that the VA does not work and needs to be replaced with a better private system.

The trouble is that the public is not aware of this plan. Nor does the public seem to be outraged by berating our veterans. Privatizing the VA and closing it should be war with ANYONE who even talks about it.

Having been in Vietnam I find anyone who wants to take away veterans health care to be totally immoral. Veterans will NEVER get adequate care and will be required to use their disability payments to pay for private health care in the end if the GOP gets its way.

Trump fully supports taking away veterans care. Plus these plans would also change Tricare for military retirees, because the way VA goes so goes Tricare.

Here is a good one. Maybe they want to turn our MASH units over to private corporations as contractors. So if a soldier comes in severely wounded but savable the cost will be a factor in triage.

has been gearing up for this for years. People have to wake up and read their local Newspapers . Koch Industries have Public Relations Offices and Lobbyist in all 50 States as off July of 2016. As soon as the VA is hollowed out like the State Department,Trump and Friends will Privatize it in a Heart Beat.
