So who is for being a 50-state 3200-county party again instead of a decimated party?

If you think this is a good idea, please tell me how we do this by alienating ANYONE. We need ALL Dems, and many Independents, and even some moderate Republicans voting for some of our candidates. That means needing candidates and messaging that fit the particular districts. We need women and men, younger people and older people, people of color and people not of color, people of higher education and people of lesser education. EVERYONE! And yes, even Dems and Independents and moderate Republicans, MILLIONS of whom voted for Obama, who for complex reasons voted for Trump in 2016. They are NOT all "redneck racist assholes." It is not that shallow and simple. No one is excusing it. No one is defending it. But we need to understand it and not paint ANY group of Americans with one wide shallow brush.

So unless you enjoy having no political power and being politically annihilated at all levels and branches of government as we are now, then we better be a big tent party again.

And to people who voted for Trump and/or who have been voting mostly Republican, or who haven't been voting at all or didn't vote at all in 2016, but who have come to their senses and have returned to us by voting for people like Conor Lamb in these special elections, I say GOOD and THANKS!

And to all other loyal Dems who have been with us and stuck with us in all election cycles and have been voting in these special elections and helping the candidates in their campaigns, thanks to you even MORE. It is truly appreciated.

We get it. You want to be nice to MAGAts. Fine, go ahead.

And I don;t care if they are not all redneck racist assholes. They voted for Trump knowing EXACTLY what he is.

If they realize they were wrong and want to join the good guys, good on 'em. WElcome to the light side. But I'm not going to quit pointing out that these assholes are, in fact, assholes.

some people are not able to handle it.

these aer the same ones that downplay or dismiss russian hack , and comey role in the election.

the fact that Hillary was the first candidate to run embracing such diversity and did as well as she did with millions more votes and would have won without russian hack and/or comey really frustrates them.

instead of doing something about what really hurt us they are using it to try to turn things back into white male centered politics .

while still understanding that there will be some number - maybe a lot - of Trump voters who are unreachable. I don't think the party should go out of its way to try to convert Trumpers or chase cranky old racist white guys, but we shouldn't ignore any state or area. There are bound to be some reachable voters in all locations who didn't vote at all last time.

Trump, throughout his campaign and presidency, has verbally abused and denigrated PoC, women, immigrants, etc.

This led many of his supporters to attack such groups physically, especially in the weeks after the election.

Immigrants who have lived lawfully here for 30 years are being deported, cruelly separated from their families.

This is fascism, my friends.

Anyone who appeases Trump/Trumpism is no friend of mine, and needs to be strongly and vocally opposed.

15. Wasn't Hillary attacked for NOT limiting her campaign to fewer states?
Mon Mar 19, 2018, 12:07 AM

People said she shouldn't have campaigned so hard in North Carolina or Arizona. She should have let go of Ohio and Iowa sooner. She shouldn't have even opened offices in Texas, Georgia and Utah.

This was before it was decided to alter history completely and claim that she barely campaigned in MI, PA, OH or WI.

As for her comments in India, she was trying to make a point about how some places are looking to go back to a supposedly better time. She wasn't calling anyone a backwards people.

She was wrong in her analysis. Economically distressed voters, whose main concern was the economy, voted for Hillary. Comey and Putin gave the election to Trump.

And HRC showed her commitment to these places by actually coming up with a plan to help them.
