President Trump's first direct attack on Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Twitter .. came just after Mueller had subpoenaed Trump's business records.

... Trump did not follow the sage advice of South Carolina Republican Trey Gowdy this weekend: If the president is innocent, the congressman said, he should "act like it" ...

An innocent president would simply let this investigation .. run its course ...

An innocent president wouldn't need to cast this as a witch hunt orchestrated by his political enemies ...

So far, the only one I heard say anything negative about the whole Mueller/Trump deal who is not on his way out is Lindsey Graham and I really don't put too much into him, because he'll be singing another tune at another time.

Trump is not innocent. He can't let the investigation run its course because he's guilty and he knows it.
