Cambridge Analytica's Kenya election role 'must be investigated'

... National Super Alliance (Nasa) official Norman Magaya accused Cambridge Analytica and the ruling party of trying to "subvert the people's will".

Cambridge Analytica bosses were apparently caught on camera boasting of the control they had exerted in Kenya.

The company denies any wrongdoing.

Mr Kenyatta's Jubilee party have downplayed the impact of the group, saying they employed the company's parent company, SCL, to help with branding ...

SCL Group, which shares personnel with CA, has a history of involvement across the globe in military operations, training NATO forces, marketing databases, and election rigging. Based in the UK, SCL carries a Secret clearance as a ‘List X’ contractor for the British Ministry of Defence; has worked for private contractors in Iran, Libya, and Syria; and though they had conducted surveys in Iran and Yemen for the Pentagon in the past, they’re now legit bigly players.

They appear to specialize in political covert action as part of US/UK covert operation.

Could be us, though. Who knows? Not surprised Republicans would be using these tactics against political parties in their own country.

And therefore, its politics need to be "managed".

The intervention was to maintain the status quo, rather than to support the new opposition.
